The wired hour meter is by far the most economical and reliable instrument available on the market. By reading the current from the spark plug wire, the hour meter detects engine operation and counts only the engine's operating hours. The current flow is read via induction, so there is no need to strip or disconnect any wires. It is sufficient to wrap the supplied cable 4 or 5 times around the spark plug cable to make the hour meter operational. The device is completely waterproof (IP68) and is designed to work even in the most extreme applications such as off-road. The integrated lithium battery guarantees three years of operation without any maintenance.
